Our room was fairly quiet and practical and it came with bathroom and private baths, for instance.

I recently stayed at the Guesthouse Nara Komachi for one night during my whirlwind Kansai visit. The room was clean, cosy, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local restaurants. The location was ideal, only a short walk to a grocery store and the main train station. I was pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the area at night. The guesthouse itself is well-maintained, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. The common area was inviting, and the separate kitchen ensured good air quality. a highly recommended stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was neat, facilities were good, comfy and handy location close enough to a quiet area which is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, sites and attractions as well as the main tourist street.

The staff at this guesthouse were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with great information about the city and were always willing to assist with any questions we had. The shared female bedroom we stayed in was clean, convenient, and well-maintained. The location of the guesthouse was also a big plus - it was within walking distance to both the JR train station and the city's main attractions. the nearby supermarket made it easy for us to grab any necessities we needed during our stay.
There were no major negatives during our stay at this guesthouse. The only small drawback was that the room we stayed in had a small window with no view.

We were incredibly impressed with this guesthouse! Everything was clean and the owners were incredibly kind and spoke excellent English. We had a regular room and a twin room - the latter had a bunk bed which the kids loved! Less than a 5 minute walk from jr Nara Station, and about 20 minutes by foot to the central historical district. I would gladly stay here again!

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Nara for a short visit and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, being close to the train station, airport bus, and various shops and restaurants. The staff at the guesthouse were outstanding, providing exceptional customer service and making me feel right at home. The facilities were clean, quiet, and modern, and the wooden bunk bed in my room was very comfortable. The shared kitchen was incredibly clean and well-stocked, with free coffee, tea, and condiments. it was a wonderful experience and I definitely plan on returning in the future.
I do recommend this hotel.

Excellent guesthouse with all the facilities from a hotel, right next to jr Nara station. The staff is very nice and with good English which can be very important travelling in Japan. Also the decoration, the rooms and the services are a plus. It was a good surprise.

Very friendly and helpful staff
The room was rather small, but otherwise good.. I was alone, but it would have not been very comfortable for two.

The room I stayed in was small but very clean and comfortable. The wifi was strong and the bathroom had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel provided towels and luxurious toiletries, but no toothpaste or toothbrush. The hotel's location was convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. One of the best aspects was the friendly and helpful staff, who spoke good English and made me feel welcome.
The room was small, which may not be suitable for people with knee problems due to the constant getting up and down on the tatami floor. The TV only had local channels, so there were limited entertainment options in the room.

The guesthouse is run by a couple who treats the guests as family members. They are very friendly and helps you out if you have any questions. The facilities are great. The wifi connection (at least in my room) was very good and worked in high speed. If you don't have any notebooks with you, there is also two working station which you can use freely. A small kitchen with all kinds utilities exist as well. The rooms are very clean and they don't smell after smoke like other hotels with "no smoker" rooms. So felt quite comfortable and well in my room. There is no curfew. So you can pop at any time in, if you now the password for the door locker. The Guesthouse Nara Komachi is modern and price/value ration is reasonable! I enjoyed my stay here and would back again at any time.

The room facilities is great, especially the shower along with the hot water. It is very clean and the internet connection is fast enough. Tatami style (Japanese style) is recommended for international guest. The kitchen facilities is complete and easy to use. This hotel is suitable for people who will not stay a day long in the room. The guesthouse staffs are very helpful and speak English well.
There is no breakfast in this hotel. A Japanese breakfast style will be an additional value for this hotel/guesthouse
